Bi-Weekly Construction Update - February 20th, 2026

Two-Week Look Ahead

Demolition is complete and we are working on closing the demolition permit for 275 Merton. The demolition permit for 267 Merton is already closed.

Site preparation work is ongoing.

Work Facilitated by Rogers*:

  • Cybertech (a Rogers contractor) will be relocating some boxes in front of the job site

  • Cybertech will be working on the south side walk along Merton digging holes to pull new cables

  • Small Mobile cranes working along Merton street on the south side

*Please note this is not a contractor retained by Collecdev-Markee. We received notice of this work on 26.02.19.

Temporary Impacts to Be Aware Of

During this time, neighbours may notice:

  • Existing equipment being removed from site and new equipment being delivered to site

  • Cybertech will be closing the south lane along Merton Steet and the side walk throughout the day (CDM has been informed by Rogers the closures will commence February 23rd and should last one week). Cybertech will provide traffic control.

Flag personnel will be on site to help manage traffic and support safe movement for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. We will continue to take steps to minimize disruption and appreciate the community’s understanding as this work progresses.
